Only One Month to Go!

How Far Along: 36 Weeks

Maternity Clothes: Yes.

Weigth Gain: My weight stayed the same (13 pounds) since the last week when I went to the doctor. I guess it depends on the day. Sometimes it more like 14 pounds. Who really cares at this point, right?!?

Stretch Marks: None

Sleep: Minus the trips to the bathroom, I have no complaints. I'm sure I don't help my cause since I drink a large glass of water each night before bed;)

Best Moment This Week: Celebrating Easter this past Sunday and being off all week long for spring break!! I also had my weekly doctor's appointment, and everything with baby looked great. She measured at 35 cm again, but was being stubborn in allowing the nurse to get an accurate reading of her heartbeat. It was somewhere in the 130s or 140.

Movement: Her movements have turned into more squirming motions rather than kicking. The doctor says this is normal since she doesn't have as much room to move around anymore. Her movements have also been more noticeable at certain periods of the day since I have been off of school. She has had hiccups the past two mornings:)

Food Cravings: No...my appetite has seemed to be decreasing over the past week or so. I guess there is not as much room for the food to go.

Gender: Girl

Labor Signs: Only BH...I'm assuming that when I actually go into labor, I would know the difference.

Belly Button In Or Out: In/Flush with rest of stomach

What I Miss: Not having heartburn on a daily basis!! Before I was pregnant, I don't think I had ever had heartburn before. Now, it's inevitable that I get it pretty much every single day!! At least my days of getting it are numbered!!!

What I Am Looking Forward To: Being able to see our baby soon (well hopefully not too soon). Being off from school has given me time to wash all of her clothes, blankets, etc. Hopefully by the end of my break we can get a bag packed for the hospital, and then we should be good to go! Ahh!!

Milestones: It's hard to believe that we only have one month left! What's really hard to believe is that the baby really could come at anytime, and she should be perfectly healthy.

  1. Hi Michelle!

I just wanted to let you know that I've been keeping up with your blog and looking at your pictures even though I haven't seen you forevs. Wish I could've been at your shower and seen you a few times during your pregnancy, but I'm completely excited for you and I'm sure I'll see your beautiful little girl sometime this summer when I'm home.

    Love ya!
    Erica Z.
