Here is a close-up of the crib with bedding. The quilt and bumper have polka dots, the sheet is floral, and the bumper is striped. A lot going on, but it all looks good together.

Nursery Transformation (Part One)
Over the course of the past week, we have begun the process of transforming the one of the guest bedrooms into a nursery. Seems like just yesterday that this room was repainted...ha! Here are a few photos of the old room, so at least we have something to remember it by.

Joe and I ordered the baby her very own bedding , and we were very pleased with the real-life results when it came in the mail. Joe wanted something not too "girly" and "frilly." We tried to steer clear of too many flowers, lace, etc. For not wanting the nursery to be very girl-like, I must say that there is NO mistaking what gender this room is intended for. Joe was all for painting the wall pink:) I LOVE painting and getting to see immediate results from doing so. Consequently, I was very excited when I got the chance to paint the entire room due to a couple snow days at school!
